Dale Power Solutions Joins the Institute of Healthcare, Engineering and Estates Management, Strengthening Commitment to Healthcare

We’re pleased to announce that Dale Power Solutions is now a member of the Institute of Healthcare, Engineering and Estates Management (IHEEM). This membership marks a logical next step for the business, reflecting our long-standing commitment to supporting critical power infrastructure across both large estates and healthcare facilities.
IHEEM is the UK’s professional body representing healthcare estates, engineering, and facilities management professionals responsible for the safe and effective operation of healthcare environments. As our involvement with healthcare estates continues to expand in scale, joining IHEEM allows us to engage more closely with the organisations and individuals we already support, and contribute our expertise where power resilience is critical.
Dale Power Solutions works closely with facilities managers and estates teams, including major facilities management (FM) providers such as NHS Property Services and CBRE, delivering nationwide service and maintenance through our team of 85+ engineers based across the UK.
Last year, we announced a multi-year contract renewal with NHS Property Services, covering the service and maintenance of 120+ critical power assets, including standby generators, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and power factor correction (PFC) systems. The contract renewal built on more than 10 years of trusted partnership, supporting essential healthcare power infrastructure across the NHS estate.
Our engineers also work extensively with major FM providers such as CBRE, overseeing hundreds of power assets across complex, multi-site estates. A key contract secured through CBRE in 2025 brings an additional 700 generators under Dale’s service capability. While this work spans general estates beyond healthcare, it reinforces the depth of our asset management capability.
Dale Power Solutions also designs, manufactures, and installs critical power systems, including generators, UPS, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
We completed a major project for an NHS hospital, delivering two bespoke containerised diesel generator units designed specifically for a clinical site environment. Each unit was rated at 2284kVA / 1827kW prime power, with 2525kVA / 2020kW standby capability, and engineered to meet the strict acoustic requirements of 85 dBA at one metre.
The project demonstrates our ability to deliver technically complex solutions aligned with healthcare operational requirements.
As part of our IHEEM membership, we’re also pleased to share that we’ll be exhibiting at Healthcare Estates, taking place 13-14 October at Manchester Central. The event provides a key opportunity to connect with healthcare estates and engineering professionals and to share insights on resilient power strategies for critical environments.
