We’re proud to announce the successful completion of the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for a landmark 4MWh Behind-the-Meter Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) designed and developed for a leading UK client.
This state-of-the-art solution, delivered by Dale Power Solutions in collaboration with EFT Energy Solutions and global battery manufacturer BYD, marks a major step in supporting the UK's energy transition and enabling smarter, cleaner power use in commercial and industrial settings.

Overcoming grid connection limitations, particularly in congested areas
Storing surplus clean energy generated on-site via a solar PV array

At the heart of the project is the BYD MC Cube, a modular, scalable Energy Storage System (ESS) engineered to deliver high performance, safety, and flexibility in demanding applications. The 4MWh capacity allows for significant energy capture and release, enabling large-scale renewable energy integration and backup capability.
The system will operate behind-the-meter, meaning the energy is stored and used directly on-site, reducing dependency on the National Grid and supporting more efficient energy use. With the integration of renewable energy and battery storage, the facility will benefit from improved energy security and long-term cost savings.
