Dale Power Solutions delivered a fully bespoke 150kVA containerised generator system for the UK rail sector, designed to meet the stringent safety, performance, and compliance requirements of Network Rail’s PADS approval process.
The project required the integration of a Network Rail-approved switchboard and a complete fuel system within a containerised generator solution. However, the standard container dimensions did not provide sufficient space to accommodate the switchboard and associated equipment while maintaining safe access for operation and maintenance.
Dale Power Solutions engineered a bespoke container extension, specifically designed around the client’s equipment and operational requirements. This tailored approach enabled seamless integration of the switchboard and fuel system. The final design optimised space utilisation, access for maintenance, ventilation, and safety, without reliance on standardised container configurations.
