While this is a field-based role, you will primarily work from home, travelling to customer sites across the UK as required. Occasional overnight stays may be necessary, along with visits to our offices in Scarborough or St Albans.
You will need a strong engineering background in controls, with experience in installation, maintenance, and diagnostics of control systems and AMF/ATS equipment. Working within our Service division, you will support the delivery of critical power solutions through both planned maintenance and project work.

Carrying out service and maintenance on generators and associated electrical equipment
Performing fault finding and diagnostics across electrical and mechanical systems
Completing control installations and upgrades, including AMF/ATS systems
Supporting commissioning and project work, including new installations and replacements
Providing technical support to colleagues, customers, and internal teams
Attending site visits and call-outs, including participation in rota and out-of-hours work
Completing documentation and reporting, including site reports and time records
Experience in power generation systems, particularly diesel generators and controls
Knowledge of AMF/ATS systems, switchgear, and power distribution
Strong technical and commercial awareness
Proficiency in IT systems and software, including Microsoft Office and related tools
Ability to build client relationships and deliver high levels of customer service
A strong focus on health and safety and compliance
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
