When dependable power is the backbone of your business, then you know you need a generator that can deliver just that. A heavy generator provides the best in output power when the power goes out – ensuring business operations continue as normal. We can’t always predict adverse weather in this country. We can’t know when foul play will occur. But what we can do is put measures in place to prevent power outages and power failure that could otherwise cause irreversible damage. That’s where our diesel generators and natural gas generators come in, providing that emergency power when you need it the most.

From the HTW-780 T5, HMW-915 T6 and HMW-1205 T6 in the diesel range through to the HGM-1120 T6 NG, HGM-1880 T6 NG and HGM-1980 T5 NG in the natural gas range, our heavy generators will give your business, site or facility the backup power to ensure operational continuity. With varying rated speeds, voltages, power factors and control units, our generator team can help you find the right one for you. With battery chargers, battery switches and alternators also included with some models, we’ll take your needs into account, and ensure you’re happy with your investment.

Our generator rental, generator hire and diesel generator purchases will keep your business going. We are a Premier Dealer of Himoinsa generators and have made them our power supply generators of choice. It’s this partnership that ensures the best deals for our clients, providing them with great value for money too. FAQs

How do Generators and UPS systems work together?

If the mains power fails, your uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system will accept the load and support the critical systems that can’t withstand a short break in power. The UPS system then acts as a power bridge, keeping your critical power equipment operational until the generator supply is established and synchronises with the UPS power supply, before picking up the load.

A generator must be sized appropriately for the UPS system it is supplying. As well as handling the step load of the UPS power, the generator must have sufficient capacity to recharge the UPS batteries and cover the conversion losses of the UPS. The maximum step load of most generators is around 65% of the total rated capacity of the generator. It’s therefore important that you find a heavy generator that matches your UPS requirements, and we here at Dale Power can help with that.

Do you offer service and maintenance?

Yes, we offer a comprehensive generator service and generator maintenance solution based on your power requirements as a business. Our generator maintenance plans and contracts can include everything from fluid sampling, minor fault fixes and callouts through to management information reports, condition-based consumable changes and access to your very own customer portal. Along with control system maintenance, the provision of spare parts and generator fuel management, our generator maintenance programmes will keep your equipment covered, and your business protected.

Can you put a generator in a container?

We sure can, and we have a greater range of generator containers on offer here at Dale Power Solutions. Generator containers provide the perfect operating conditions for your gensets as they protect them from harsh weather conditions and uncommon terrains. Many of our generator containers include common backup power accessories such as circuit breakers, automatic transfer switches and fuel tanks as well, giving you more value for your investment.
