Our client maintains the telephone network across the UK and Northern Ireland. The Regional Area Network (RAN) has around 13,000 strategically located masts. These transmission masts provide crucial service coverage for each service provider EE, MBNL, O2 and the Emergency Services Network. It is crucial that the service is always available, even during a power outage, to ensure all emergency services control rooms can continue to communicate effectively.
